It can be confusing to figure out which of the Library's databases will be best for your topic. However, there are some quick and easy ways to figure it out:

  • For all-purpose research, you can try our Search Everything box on the Library homepage, which will search most of our databases as well as the catalogue. Check here for a video tutorial on how to use Search Everything.
  • For research focusing on specific areas such as business, statistics, or Canadian content, you may want to use a database for that subject. To access subject databases, go to our Databases by Subject page and select the subject you need.

Remember, to access databases from home, you will need your Library card# and PIN. Click here for more information on off-campus access
