FINES (Overdue Fines)
Library users are responsible for all transactions made on their cards and are subject to overdue fines and any charges for lost or damaged materials.
Library borrowing privileges are suspended when outstanding fines exceed $10.00. Transcripts may be withheld until the student record is cleared.
The fine for overdue books varies depending on the type of the book (e.g., 1-day loan, 7-day loan, 14-day loan, etc.). Please check more details here for overdue fine schedules.
You can check your Library Account for any outstanding items or fines. When prompted for your USER ID, enter your student # (or staff number) followed by ‘@georgebrown.ca’. (example: 100123456@georgebrown.ca). When prompted for your PIN, enter your GBC password.
