How long does it take to caption a video?
Answer
Allow for at least two weeks to have captioned media requests fulfilled. This allows time to obtain the necessary permissions and approvals as well as the actual captioning.
Please remember that we may not always be given permission to caption, or there may be costs associated with gaining permission. It's always good practice to make sure you talk to you liasion librarian who can help you find alternatives just in case.
